Loris Karius could feature in the Champions League on Wednesday night for the first time since defeat in the final against Liverpool five years ago.
Newcastle’s goalkeeper crisis worsens Number one Nick Pope will be sidelined for 4 months with a shoulder injury. Meanwhile, his second-hand Martin Dubravka is still uncertain for the upcoming game with AC Milan ทางเข้า UFABET
Dubravka played in place of Pope but missed practice on Tuesday. Manager Eddie Howe later revealed it was unclear whether the Slovak goalkeeper would be fit in time for the Champions League game.
The uncertainty could pave the way for Karius to play in his second game for the Magpies and his first in Europe since joining the club.

Karius played his final Champions League match for Liverpool as the Reds lost 1-3 to Real Madrid in Kiev.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper made a huge mistake in that game. Starting with throwing the ball into Karim Benzema’s legs, it bounced into the goal. Then they were unable to block Gareth Bale’s direct shot.
He never recovered from that disappointing night. And was released on loan to Besiktas and Union Berlin before moving to Newcastle on a free transfer.
Liverpool replaced Karius with Alisson Becker, who has been the goalkeeper until now. Since then he has helped the Reds win the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
Meanwhile, Karius has only played once for the Magpies. Which was the defeat in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester United last season.
