Manchester United have triggered a one-year extension in Diogo Dalot contract amid interest from Barcelona and AC Milan.

The Portugal right-back’s current deal at Old Trafford expires next summer. With many clubs monitoring the situation. Manchester United have the option to automatically extend his contract for another year.

The 23-year-old has gone through a mixed up time at Old Trafford. But has now been able to solidify his place at right-back in Erik ten Hag’s side by playing. Went 17 games including all items UFABET

He has featured in every Premier League and Europa League game for Ten Hag’s side this season.

The Red Devils are keen to keep Dalot in the team. And are expected to activate the terms that will give him a deal until the end of the 2023-24 season. While they will open talks to extend his long-term contract.

Dalot has been linked with Barcelona and Milan, where he spent a season on loan.

Dalot joined United from Porto in a £19m move back in the summer of 2018.

The 22-year-old defender has regained his place in the Premier League under Ralph Rangnick, having been an understudy to Aaron-Wan-Bissaka earlier in the season.

Dalot performed well on loan at AC Milan last season. This has made him a target for many European clubs. But United still want to keep them active this season.
