Manchester United will intensify their search for a new full-back this summer amid uncertainty on both sides of defence.

Of United’s 29 players on their pre-season tour of the United States, they were without Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot and Tyrell Malacia, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka the only first-team full-back on the trip, and he could also be sell amid interest from West Ham and Galatasaray.
The Red Devils are considering a move for a left-back amid ongoing concerns over Shaw’s fitness and there is no indication Malacia will be available anytime soon.
They are in the market for a new right-back this summer to replace Wan-Bissaka. Who is entering the final year of his contract and the 26-year-old would cost around £15m just five years after moving to Old Trafford from Crystal Palace for £50m. While United are also interest in Bayern Munich full-back Noussair Mazraoui.
As it stands, Dalot and Shaw will be United’s first-choice full-backs, with Dalot, in particular. One of the team’s most consistent performers last season after signing a new five-year deal.
For Shaw, he was limit to just 15 appearances due to a hamstring injury and only recovered in time to start one of England’s Euro 2024 starts.
Both players are currently on holiday following the Promotion ufabet Euros and were not include in United’s squad for the US tour.
Meanwhile, Malacia remains at Carrington to recuperate after missing the entirety of last season following two knee surgeries.
